i need to know why more and more teens are turning to drugs and alcohol…and what we can do to help keep teens from becoming addicts and alcoholics

Their parents do not show them the time and more importantly the love they need. They are to busy with their lives and desires to spend the time and effort it requires to raise a child.

I don’t think there is a specific reason why more and more teens are turning to drugs and alcohol. I think what needs to happen is that these teens need to be more educated about the effects that drugs and alcohol have on your body. Not only do they damage your body physically, but it also has a serious effect on your mind as well. These teens do not see the long term effects of these drugs, or alcohol for that matter. I came across this really great website that has a lot of information about drugs and alcohol. Maybe somehow we can let teens know more about long term effects of drugs and alcohol.
