Looked, “W” drank real heavy for only 20 years and snorted coke daily for only 6 years.

Did alcoholism negatively affected great leaders like BorisYeltsin? I think not.

No, I think we should not judge bush by his past drug usage and alcohol consumption ..the past is the past..

I used to drink and do some stuff that did not come from the doctors and i am ok..(”?”) as this is my opinion.

Obama and Bush are good examples of recovering alcohoics

an alcoholic/drug addict can overcome their habit and it does not mean they are marred for life.

I think there has always been alcoholics and drug users in high places..no pun intended.

Look at all the nut cases that have never done booze or pills?
I am more afraid of them then the ones that are honest and admit they had a problem and did something about it…thankx

If drug and alcohol abuse causes brain damage, it is no wonder so many of today’s young people support Obama even though he is hell bent on destroying their futures.

For example:

Obama wants a 60 percent tax bracket for upper-income Americans, killing all initiative and innovation. He’d raise the top bracket to 40 percent. He’d apply FICA taxes to all income, not just that under $100,000 as at present. So add 40 percent plus FICA’s 12.5 percent plus Medicare’s 2 percent plus state and local taxes averaging, after deduction, at 5-6 percent, and you have a 60 percent bracket.

He would double the capital gains tax, saddling the 50 percent of Americans who own stock with dramatically higher taxes. He’d double the dividend tax, hitting elderly coupon-clippers now retired and depending on fixed incomes.

He wants to cover 12 million illegal immigrants with federally subsidized health insurance, dramatically driving up costs and forcing federal rationing of healthcare. As in the U.K. and Canada, you will not be permitted certain medical procedures if the bureaucrats decide you are not worth it.

He proposes requiring Homeland Security operatives to notify terror suspects that they are under investigation within seven days of starting the investigation. He says that unless they can establish that there is “probable cause to believe that a certain individual is linked to a specific terrorist group,” Homeland Security cannot seize his documents and search his business. The current standard is only that the search be “relevant” to a terror investigation.

He does not oppose $5-per-gallon gasoline but only says that he wishes there had been a more “gradual adjustment” to the higher prices.

So, you can expect a great deal of change. I assure you, you won’t like it.

You can take a mental picture of Obama, Bush, and McCain doing all the drugs you want, not a problem in my book…

But can you see Obama singing “God Bless America” and wearing a flag on his shirt? Can you still hear Jeremiah Wright cursing America, cursing the Jewish song writer Irving Berlin?

McCain can have white walls on his nose, but in the end of the day…he bleeds red, white, and blue…no cresent moon on his tee shirts.

How do you have any idea how many or what type of drugs any of these people used? You are just trying to make trouble with this ludicruous question and it bears no mind! But, NO, Mr. Bush’s thinking is clear enough!!!!!!!

we all make mistakes in our past obama has had previous drug use and i am sure that Mccains time in Vietnam has had a negative effect on his current ability to lead. Also the two men’s college history should be taken into view Obama was near the top of his class at a very difficult school Harvard while Mccain finished near the bottom of his class at the naval academy. Then there is their finances. Obama is quite responisible where Mccain is very heavily in debt

Well if drugs and alcohol are an excuse for poor judgement then you have just solved the mystery for me as to why Democrats make the decisions that they make since they account for 90% of the drug and at least 50% of the alcohol abusers in America.
