What do I do if someone in my family is using and My current job is Drug and Alcohol Prevention?
I just recently started a new position that I feel very strong about and I have a few in laws that use drugs and abuse alocohol and are around my children quite abit. What do I do?
I have tried to help them, but they do not want the help. I do protect my children. Believe me I don’t allow what they do infront of them. But they do drink when they come over. I let them know everyday that this bothers me. But, I guess when that is all they were brought up with, then how do I change it? Remember, I just started this position and I don’t need people who I work with in my family affairs. Put yourself in my position, would you tell coworkers that someone in your family uses?
