I have been friends with her since 5th grade. We ended up going to the same high school as well. In 9th grade she started hanging out with the wrong crowd. Freshman yr her boyfriend got her into drugs, and alcohol. By her sophmore yr she moved in with her grandmother who wanted to help her with her drug addiction. She ended up getting pregnant her junior yr and did very well and got medical help and everything and did not smoke once while pregnant or drink.
Well my friend is now 21 and is RN, a mother of 3, and has done very well for herself. her boyfriend was somewhat abusive and reglective towards her but supposedly got some counseling and is doing better. Well just the other day her older sister called to talk with me and told me that her sister may be anorexic. She told me that she’s back doing drugs, drinking, is out majority of the night, left her kids alone one day, slept in and missed work and was caught drinking and driving and may lose her nursing license.How can I help her

One of my best friends is seriously strung out on crack, she is 45 years old, and have kids and grandkids. We would all like to see her clean up her act, before it is to late. She is not in the best of health, besides the drug addiction.

Is there anyone here who has successfully set up an intervention with a loved one or a friend, and it worked? If so, please share.
