Caught: Drug Counciling, What Will They Do With Me?

Question by Sunrayye: Caught: Drug counciling, what will they do with me?
So I’m 16 and my mom recently found out that I smoke marijuana. She doesn’t have any tolerance for drugs so of course she is going to do something about it. She figures something must be wrong with me.

A little background on me: I am an honor roll student, never gotten a detention or anything like that, never get in trouble. I don’t come from a broken home, I’m not depressed, and nothing is bothering me. I have a good life. Also, me and her have a close relationship.

I do it simply because I like it.

She doesn’t have the specifics figured out yet, but I overheard her saying something about Drug Counseling, along with similar things in Google history.

What do you suppose they would say/do to someone like me?
“Drug diversion”…So they are going to try to divert me from it? I don’t see that possible…I wont argue or anything though because that will give them more fuel to work with. I’ll listen to what they have to say but I just don’t think they are going to be able to change my mind because I’ve heard/read it all before.

The laws are for your protection. The fact that you’re 16 and “do it because you like it” is the reason the laws were enacted in the first place. You have a lot going for you. Don’t throw it all away.

Hello, this is going to be a big problem in your life. First and foremost this drug will make you forget a lot it bascally works on relaxing the muscles then to do that it relaxes the brain. You will eventually start getting shiftless in memory and body movement.
Furthurmore, once this dependecy is not around you will graduate to a different drug, which will also be habit forming. It could be cocaine, ecstacy, or etc.

Drug diversion is the help you would need and that is the only hope for you.
I wish you could see what I have seen while traveling around the country of the effect of drugs and it is devastating.
