Prescription Drug Abuse: The mothers of prescription overdose victims Donna Bertrand and Dustin King speak out
Donna Bertrand and Dustin King were found dead within days of each other in Ms. Bertrand’s downtown Brockville apartment, lethal amounts of prescription pills in their bloodstreams. An inquest into their deaths has tasked a five-person jury with trying to figure out what doctors, policy-makers, pharmacists and police should do in the face of growing prescription opioid abuse.
