Drug Addiction: Anybody Wanna Help Me With My Marijuana Project?

Question by Janis: Anybody wanna help me with my marijuana project?
Ok, my parents caught me smoking pot. They are making WAY too big a deal of it. Not only are they taking it too far, but what really bothers me is they have every single one of their facts WRONG. After an hour and a half lecture i can honestly say my parents do not know a single fact about marijuana, they lectured me on price, addiction, effects, laws, and dangers. And all i could think was, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG. I have no idea where they got their “facts” from. So im making a report for them, im writing a report about marijuana, and how its not as bad as they think. They swear its cocaine or something, no joke! I will include facts like medicinal use, “addiction” (If any!), and i will include many comparisons with weed and alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. They are life long cigarette smokers so i will compare heavily to tobacco. Does anyone know any websites, books, movies, or anywhere i can get some really good helpful information for my project? Also if you know anything i should include gimme what you got but i will need you to cite your source!

Thankyou
@jhiya… yes it will be written by me but i will not be the one making the stuff up, i will just collect as many facts as i can and present it to them so you never know, it might make a difference.
@jane doe….actually i thought marijuana killed brain cells, apparently the study they used to determine it killed brain cells was extremely poorly done and the whole experiment was recalled….look it up.

They are definitely hypocrites if they’re preaching about you not smoking and they continue to heavily smoke themselves. Show them the effects of life long smoking and cancer and they’ll leave you alone. I’d rather have my kid be an occasional pot smoker than a regular cigarette smoker.
