Not a good thing. A teenager is at a point where they are still experiencing life and learning who they are. They are at a point where new and exciting choices and opportunities await and it is a time of choices, learning, growing, experiencing…not raising a child. Emotionally a teenager hasn’t experienced enough to fully understand (although all will disagree, but when you get older you look back and realized it’s true) how to raise a child and all that goes along with it. Having a baby changes your life in more ways than a teenager can even imagine.
Also, a teenager’s body is not at a point where having a baby is good for their development. Physically it is more dangerous for a teenager.
As far as UK goes, I don’t there so I can’t comment on that. But I do know that a teen who has a baby is likely to be a grandparent pretty young. Teens babies often have babies as teens. Can the circle be broken? Of course. But it requires a lot of education and work.
No, teens having babies is not good and there is no positive aspect. Teens need to enjoy being teens and moving on to the next stage of their life without being a parent.

I was pregnant as a teenager.no theres nothing good bout it. cause you lose out on your life. your life becomes the babies life. yours is over. if i had it all to do over i would. i missed so much. but i love my kids and wouldn’t change it for the world.
