Does “Music Addiction” Exist?
Question by Nachiket Pandit: Does “music addiction” exist?
Now we all know that you can be addicted to drugs and the like, but what is the medical consensus on addiction to music? If it exists, how does one know if one is addicted to music? If not, why isn’t there such a thing yet, seeing as how if we substitute “drugs” in place of “music” in the music addict’s self-description, we would alarmingly cry drug addiction?

i really do believe theres music addicts, i knew someone from school that always had his mp3 player with him i mean everywhere school, work, etc.. he couldn’t stand being without music so i do believe theres addiction, too much of anything it’s addiction
