Book: Something Wicked This Way Comes-Ray Bradbury
Reason: It has all the thematic elements needed to keep the reader’s attention. I really like suspense, and it was a great book. The most meomorable thing was the side-show characters such as the Dust Witch, and her slime trail and the whole concept of the ‘evil carnival’ and the cliche theme “be careful what you wish for”

The Lord of the Rings by: J.R.R Tolkien
This book is memorable because of the detail the author put into his story as well as the well-developed characters. There are many memorable characters that all reach out to you and remind you of someone you know. That is what an author should do, make you think you know their character. Also, this book is just amazing in the way that the author paints you a picture. While I was reading it, I could see every scene unfold before my eyes, like I was actually there. Only a truly talented author can paint you a picture. Furthermore, this book is a must read because it has such a well developed plot, and is very imaginative. All in all, I give it a 10 out of 10. I hope this helps a bunch!!!
