Lets be honest. Rehab is just a temporary shut down for drug addicts. Therapy and prescription drugs usually don’t “cure” anyone. It prolongs the addiction by pushing it far down (to hide) for awhile. I’m not saying that everyone who goes to rehab comes out and goes straight back to their addictions but I don’t believe sitting in a big group of people talking about your problems in the past is actually going to help in any way. However you do hear success stories and that is awesome but its in the persons will power to change so they basically have done it on their own with a little assistance.
That’s what I believe and I think that’s why they don’t have shows on rehab. Check into the documentary “Methadone” it may help explain my theory.
