What Drugs During Wisdom Teeth Extraction?

Question by Rich: What drugs during wisdom teeth extraction?
I’m just curious what they give these people in these “after dentist videos”. What in the world are they giving these people for a tooth extraction?

First they are given some type of opiate pain med before they start, then they are most likely given nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas. They are inhaling a mixture of that gas along with oxygen during their procedure. Then as they recover and come back to their senses, they are all loopy and behave in an entertaining manner.

This “whats in my mouth” video is by far one of the funniest of these videos I’ve seen.

Teens: How Would You Talk to Your Parents About This?

Question by Bee.: Teens: How would you talk to your parents about this?
Okay, so I’ve had problems with anxiety since I was eleven years old. I hate talking about it–it’s humiliating and demeaning and makes me really uncomfortable, especially since I’m 16 and a junior and nothing about irrationally losing your mind is attractive. It’s not easily explained and when I get anxiety attacks or panic attacks, it’s really terrible and terrifying and intense. It sucks, it really, really sucks. It is clinically diagnosed and I do talk to a “Personal Counselor” once a week and then “as needed.”
