I Think I Love My Girlfriend Too Much?
Question by : I think I love my girlfriend too much?
Me and my girl have been going out for almost 3 years and she means the world to me. Over the last year though we have gone through a lot… i went away to university and since shes a year younger than me she stayed at home to finish her last year of high school. while i was away we got in a lot of fights but it was mostly because we missed each other so much and we were mad that we were apart from each other. i also got pissed when she went out which i know is wrong but i cant stand the thought of other guys hitting on her or even talking to her or risking anything coming between us. anyways i finally got back from university and things got really crazy… i know i have a jealousy problem and when she went out one night with one of her guy friends we got in a huge fight and the cops ended up issuing a restraining order. we still see each other because neither of us agrees with the court order but now whenever we have sex and we finish she gets really distant and turns her back after and doesnt like when i touch her or come near her. i know that she still loves me and she tells me that every day and that she never wants to break up and i feel the same way. but when we are forced to be apart from each other (which we are sometimes due to the restraining order… her parents would not allow us to see each other) i cant even function. i love her so much that it is destructive to our relationship. what do i do?
