My substance abuse Professor, James Crossen Ph/D, coined the generic term “Drugoholism” to cover all Chemical Dependency Issues, because though they have surface differences, most of the underlying downward spiraling progression process, towards ultimate destruction and death, is the same. Poly-substance Abuse is the technical term.

Question by well_arent_we_special: Shouldn’t METH ADDICTS and DEALERS face harsher penalities for their troubles ? They cause many problems.
Meth, as well as other drugs, is slowly destroying our great country. Too cheaply made, easily distributed, and many people are HOOKED. Jail terms are light, rehabs often fail (or are not available), and the merry-go-round just keeps on going round and round. The Drug Addiction “trip” just never seems to end for many, until they die or become “vegetables” for life.
