Question by armybratz33w: What is a good, easy to read book or website about healthy eating and healthy living?
My father has disease and type 2 diabetes, and just recently revealed to me that he’s taking 13 different medications for health related problems. I have been begging him to change his diet (which is extremely poor, and responsible for his health problems). He’s exhausted all the time, and continued to eat poorly, until last week. What is a good, easy to read book that will help him become educated on how the body works and how specific foods affect the different parts of your body. He’s ready to make a diet change!

13 medications is health abuse. Doctors should be ashamed of themselves when they do this to a person. I’m continually amazed at how doctors somehow believe that giving drugs to a person makes them healthy. That is “MAKE BELIEVE HEALTH.”    Read more...

I sincerely hope not. Carfentanil, a generic for Wildil, is an outrageously strong opioid intended for use in tranquilizing animals and is in no way safe for human consumption, although after reading up on it I understand the attraction. As an opioid, carfentatnil is akin to codeine and heroin — only much stronger than either, and synthetic. Consider this quote from a ranking chemist of the Drug Enforcement Administration:

“For instance, carfentanil is approximately 4000 times as potent as heroin and has an extremely favorable therapeutic index […]. Hence, an easy week’s work for two chemists could provide 1 (one) kilogram of carfentanil which would be equivalent to four metric tons of pure heroin.”

Any type of excessive consumption of efficiency enhancing drugs apart from medical treatment is generally termed as drug abuse. It has numerous other ranges of definitions and corresponding explanations. Even the intake of alcohol could be termed under drug misuse, as excessive alcohol consumption will lead to many social difficulties. Drug abusers are having the higher risk of committing suicide, since it causes physiological twist from the brains chemistry that may lead him / her to take the extreme step.

Drug abuse and alcohol misuse are the primary reasons to get a persons social difficulties; it mainly leads to isolation and lack of proper care. There is really a danger that even a prescribed drug when taken inside a proportion greater that what was specified can lead to the exact same result. There are instances where the impacts caused by the medication misuse would stay even right after a longer time period of detoxification; some would even last for months.    Read more...
