MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Council will set aside funds for the drug testing of 12,750 regular and contractual workers of city hall. Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte said the drug testing is in line with the city’s continuing efforts to take the lead in efforts to achieve a drug-free workplace as mandated by the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).
