I’m just curious what they give these people in these “after dentist videos”. What in the world are they giving these people for a tooth extraction?

First they are given some type of opiate pain med before they start, then they are most likely given nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas. They are inhaling a mixture of that gas along with oxygen during their procedure. Then as they recover and come back to their senses, they are all loopy and behave in an entertaining manner.

This “whats in my mouth” video is by far one of the funniest of these videos I’ve seen.

A little info I think should be considered about this drug Versed ( Midazolam ) that is used for Sedation for many medical procedures..Sedation and General Anesthesia are not the same and quite a few people being given Sedation
think they are being given General Anesthesia!
