Do Drug Tests Test for Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)?

Question by e!: Do drug tests test for diphenhydramine (benadryl)?
I have a drug test next week and was wondering if taking benadryl would matter. Is it tested for at all? Will they see how much was taken?

They only test for “drugs of abuse”. While you DO see stupid questions on here like “Can I get high on cxd?”, all benadryl does is dry your mouth and make you sleepy. Also, since it doesn’t require an Rx, they don’t test on it.

There is a test for benedryl and it does show how much was taken.

However, it has to be specially requested, it costs a little more and any typical drug tests are not going to test for it.

So you will be fine.
