I’m 23 years old and my daughter is 4, so I had her as a teenager. Normally some family members feel awakened that I had my child at a young age, but I’m doing well for myself though. I finish high school with As and Bs and making a 3.1 GPA, attended itt tech and graduated, working at a nursing home, making $ 10.50 an hour, and working my way to be a resdiental architecture. I love in a two bedroom apartment and have a very nice and stable budget. But as I stated, I do get lol down upon by some though, so is there any more pros of being a young single mother?

I think one main benefit is being closer to your daughter. Often older, more experienced adults with children can be strict, even unforgiving. But since you are still growing, making mistakes yourself, you’re not as likely to scold your daughter for mistakes she’s made. Instead, you may choose to talk through things with her more like a friend, making her more comfortable.
But of course, every benefit has a downfall. You won’t want to be too lenient with her or she could grow to make similar mistakes you did, or worse.
